Proof of ownership

We require valid proof of ownership and matching photo identification before opening a vehicle, cutting a key or programming an immobilizer. Service will be refused where ownership cannot be established.

Quotes and pricing

Telephone quotes are estimates based on the information provided. If the vehicle, key type or security system differs materially from what was described, a revised price will be given before work continues.

Scope of work

Automotive locks and immobilizer systems vary by manufacturer. Certain late-model vehicles require dealer-only equipment; where that is the case, we will say so and no charge is made beyond an agreed diagnostic fee.

Warranty

Keys and fobs supplied by us carry a workmanship warranty against programming or cutting faults. Damage caused by misuse, water ingress or third-party modification is not covered. Customer-supplied parts are not warranted.

Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the service performed. We are not responsible for pre-existing faults in locks, cylinders, wiring or electronic modules.
